Songsalive! Speakers
Read about our Guest Speakers who have given their time to attend and speak at our Songsalive! Workshops, below.
ABOUT CONTACTING OUR GUEST SPEAKERS IN ADVANCE OR AFTER THE WORKSHOP
Our guest speakers give their time for free to come speak to you. They all lead busy lives and are not all available to receive unsolicited correspondence or communication. It is recommended to NOT contact the speaker in advance, nor after the workshop, unless they personally want you to. That is, come to our workshop, and if during the workshop they take an interest in creating a relationship with you, then, and only then, should you further communicate. It is bad practice to assume that since a speaker has been our guest, and that you met them through Songsalive!, that they are an open door for you to contact. Please use your best and courteous judgement in making contact. Thank so much for your understanding.

Great Lyrics,” and “The Art of Writing Love Songs” from Allworth Press. Says Pamela: " We songwriters can be, by nature of our task, very narcissistic. We write about
ourselves incessantly. We see the world through our own perspective. And as a
result, we become repetitive in our ideas. Sometimes that's the only block
getting in the way of getting our songs recorded: learning how to speak for the
listener.
