THE L.A RECORDING PROCESS:

(1) 3 Pre-Production meetings / consultations.
This is where you bring your songs, work tape/cd of the song(s), your artistic vision and ideas to decide on the style, sounds, keys and direction of your studio process and songs. We also discuss musicians, budgets, studios and overall schedule. Finally, your songs are arranged so that the songwriting is improved and massaged to be the best they can possibly be, plus some tips and tools on your total artist direction. If you live out of Los Angeles, you can do this via mail, internet and phone.

(2) Attend production sessions in L.A. where you can oversee the recording
We record out of Burbank, CA, home to the entertainment industry's top studios and where most of the top 10 hit songs and films are made for the world. Latest gear, technology and non-intimidating space for you to create a great album under the guidance and direction of Gilli Moon (producer) and her engineer.

(3) Receive a complete master, ready to take it out to the world
We give you all session files plus a final master, ready for you to create your album

WHAT YOU GET FOR THE PRICE:

up to Five Studio Musicians: Instrumentation Includes: Live Acoustic Drums, Loops, Electric Bass, Fretless Bass. Upright Bass, Electric Guitar, Slide Guitar, Piano, Synths, B-3 Organs, Acoustic Guitar, Mandolin, These great musicians offer a lot of dynamics & feel to every song from start to finish. PLUS, a Nashville studio background vocalist is now included.
up to 10 hours of Studio Time for vocals in Los Angeles included for you or a pro demo singer to complete vocals and background vocals. It's up to you if you take up this offer. If you live out of town, or prefer to record vocals in another studio (or your own), we will give you instrumental files. There is no difference in the price, however.
up to 4 hours of Final Mixdown. CD or DVD master of the mixed songs. Plus the separated track files. We use the universal format of Pro Tools.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? (U.S Dollars)

A) DEMO QUALITY

$100 for 1 Pre Production consultation session (This is imperative. We cannot go into the studio cold. Besides, you will not only be totally prepared for studio recording, but you get your song arranged)

$600 for Production of 1 simple song demo*, engineer/1 versatile multi-musician/loops and session singer

* Based on 1 day only of production and mixing

B) ALBUM QUALITY

$500 for the total of 3 Pre Production consultation sessions (This is imperative. We cannot go into the studio cold. Besides, you will not only be totally prepared for studio recording, but you get your songs arranged and great tips and tools on the direction for your songs, music, album and total artistry)

$2500 per song Production for album ready and radio quality song **. Includes all musicians, vocals, producer and production and mixing studio time.

** Based on 5 studio musicians, and a maximum of 10 hours PER SONG recording time and 4 hours mixing time. Anything beyond that is charged at $200 per musician and $80/hour studio time and we are not responsible if the production does in fact go over the initial hours. Many reasons and circumstances create extended studio time and that's just how creativity goes. Notwithstanding, both my engineer and I believe a song can be simply and effectively produced and mixed, from beginning to end, within 3 or 4 days (minimum) and 10 days maximum. All depends on the style, direction, use of technology, artist's experience to communicate & perform in the studio, and musician needs.

This is a top quality production. These are not demo prices. We believe that in order to take your songs to the world, you need to produce them in the best possible way, with the best musicians and an unbelievable, incredible sound. Our past clients prove it... the results are clear. If you are serious about your music, don't go in half hearted. GO ALL THE WAY.
