Want to be a Songsalive! partner?

Our partnership program allows music organizations and services who become partners with us, access to our large database of songwriter and composer members. Our Partners are featured on our website and also through our newsletters. In return, you give us an exclusive unbelievable discount for our members (or at least a favored nations deal - no other network gets a better deal than you give us), so that our members see that through Songsalive! the opportunities are fabulous!

It's easy to sign up as a partner:

 

First, get to know us and what we are doing.

    Check out our partners to see who we are currently promoting and working with. You will not be able to access their discounts unless you have backstage access (membership) or sign up with us as a partner. Get an understanding of how we promote them and how they promote us. It's always a symbiotic relationship. We help you, you help us, and in turn we can help our members.

Second, consider joining as an Associate Member.

By becoming a member of Songsalive! you comply with our terms and conditions, and we can support you in return. You'll also receive our members' newsletter Songnotes, which may list your business in the future. Join here.

Third, agree to the following terms:

 

What we get:

a) Songsalive! members get a special whopping wonderful discount to your service or product that is parallel (favored nations) or unbelievably better than any other discount you are offering to other organizations and retailers. We will promote this discount $ to our members.

b) Songsalive! takes a commission of every sale. Making a commission is not our priority as we are a non-profit altruistic organization, however, since we are run by volunteers, every penny counts. So if there's a commission to be made, that doesn't reduce the discount our members can get, we would like to take between 10-20% or a set fee you can account to us.

c) Songsalive! gets a unique affiliate url that our members click on to access the discount and info of your service/product. You need to organize all of that for us and make our job easier. On your page that you create for us to click through to, you must be able to track the click-throughs to your site from ours, and then be able to provide us reports of sales. For example,
http://www.yourcompany.com/product/songsalivedeal.html.

d) You promote us on your website. Best promotion is a Songsalive! banner on your home page or opportunities/partners page that links to our website and the unique affiliate url you create for us. Another cool way to cross promote is if you offer a special bundle package that offers your service/product plus Songsalive! membership ($40 value). e) You take care of shipping inventory and you track sales. You send us the commission by mail. A log in control panel for us is even better, where we can see the revenue created (but not essential)

f) Provide us with 1 free demo/copy or membership so we can test it, know it to promote it, and use it for one of our staff (probably me, Gilli ;)

What you get:

• Great promotion on our website under partners, sponsored events (if you are an event) and linked from home page.

• Free banner rotation on our website for duration of partnership.

• Access to all our members and subscribers through our newsletters and emails [ approx 13,000 subscriber base of artists, songwriters and musicians/ approx 4,000 music industry professionals] - (we send press releases you send to us - must have our specific affiliate url on the press release).

• ability to send us swag, merch, stuff to distribute at our chapters' events and sponsored events (like all the conferences we go to and have booths at. Go see how many chapters we have! / Go check out our sponsored events.

• Half off any extra advertising you might decide to do with us (web promotion, flyers, sponsorships, extra press release services). See here for rates you get 50% off.

• Being part of the largest growing community of songwriters and composers in the world.

• Contributing to an altruistic non-profit 501c.3) public benefit corporation. This is a great asset to your business plan.
