Are you a songwriter willing to take your songs to the next level? Workshop your songs to be the best they can be, and get them out to the world.  The Songsalive! Orange County Workshop is moderated by Rod O'Riley on the last Sunday of every month.

The Songsalive! Workshops are open to all songwriters, composers, musicians, singers and music lovers. This is your chance to develop your songwriting in a supportive and intimate environment, meet invaluable music industry experts, network with fellow members, and be part of your local songwriters community.

Come to regular Songsalive! song critique workshops and develop collaborations, meet industry guests, showcase and gain feedback for your songs and music in a professional and supportive environment.

The Songsalive! workshops are open to all songwriters and music composers of all levels and music genres and you don't have to be a Songsalive! member to attend (though preference is given to Pro members for critique, and we encourage everyone to join Songsalive! to maximize your opportunities with us).

The first half is solely dedicated to an in-the-round critique workshop where writers present one song each - either on tape, CD or live - with feedback and critique given by a guest speaker or the Songsalive! moderator (who inturn allows some comments from attendees also).

The second half is dedicated to an Music Industry educational and informative discussion/talk, often with a guest speaker, and plenty of time to talk and network.

ROD O'RILEY

Rod O'Riley is a guitar salesperson by day, songwriter by night, and many other things in the hours in between.

A native of Los Angeles; he was raised in his parents' native Vancouver, BC, and schooled all over t

he West Coast. Currently he’s learning the fine art of bass playing, producing, and letting the computer take care of the hard parts.  Active as an organizer in science fiction fandom, he also keeps himself busy as an activist for animal rights, gay/lesbian/bi rights, and anarchism. And, of course, for the continued viability of live music and the venues that support it. Rodney has been involved with Songsalive! since 2002. Hey members:   I just signed up for the OC Songsalive chapter.   Kip...I would love to come talk to the group eventually, but first would like to come to your next meeting.   I am a singer/songwriter, vocal coach and own a recording studio in Ahaheim.   My company, Voice and Sound, helps prepare artists for the real world of music and provides support for the whole artist.    So, looking forward to joining the group....let me know how I can be of service...www.voiceandsound.net.     Songfully Yours, Lisa Manor Arreguin
