Grass Valley song critique Workshops

Come to regular Songsalive! workshops and develop collaborations, meet industry guests, showcase and workshop your music for feedback in a professional and supportive environment. Songsalive! holds workshops where songwriters gather to share their songs, gain feedback and develop relationships within the songwriting communities we have created around the world. The first half is solely dedicated to an in-the-round workshop where writers present one song each - either on tape, CD or live - followed by a guest speaker/or industry discussion in the second half and plenty of time to talk and network.

Our workshops often feature guest speakers representing all facets of the industry from A&R, publishers, successful producers, CD production and distribution execs and, of course, writers and composer who share their ideas, tips & techniques on all aspects of the songwriting craft. The workshops are open to all songwriters and music composers of all levels and music genres and you don't have to be a Songsalive! member to attend. It is usually best to register your attendance in advance.

about our team

MICHAEL GREGORY

Grass Valley CA Chapter Coordinator

Michael has been singing since his childhood and always dreamed of becoming a singer and a musician. He started playing his mother's guitar at 12, when she stopped playing it herself. Then started his first rock'n'roll band at the age of 13. Michael has been writing songs since his high school days and has never stopped. He now has 3 working bands; "Mad Dash" a 7 piece show/party band with 3 female vocalists, "CoolHeat" a 5 piece Smooth Jazz group which plays covers and original music and now "Inner Outlook" an acoustic 3 piece all original group. Michael is also an ordained Minister having studied Eastern and western religious philosophies for most of his life. He has written, produced and released two original albums so far, one under the "Mad Dash" name and one spiritual album under his own name. As a new Songsalive! member Michael hopes to promote his own music and help others promote their original music as well. www.lodelinemusic.com
