Volunteer

Our team creates, manages and oversees the amazing Songsalive! network and our members are encouraged to volunteer (a great way to pay off membership fees and give back to the music community). Songsalive! is run by volunteers who spend their free time giving of their services, love and time for songwriters and composer in the community. Volunteers provide assistance with showcases, workshops, street promotion, conference booths, office help, membership drives and online help. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer and being part of the team, we would love to hear from you.

Set up a Songsalive! Chapter
You get to be part of an international community of volunteers who are working hard to build a great songwriting industry – on a non-profit level (our organization is a non-profit 501 c.3) public charity organization. We are all volunteer songwriters so your contribution is invaluable. You may find that you have more ideas than what we provide here which is great!  We would like to expand our non-profit organization to many different cities and countries. The altruistic benefit for us is that we will know we have reached more songwriters and provided opportunities for support, promotion and exposure. In turn, we hope to generate more financial members. By you running a chapter in your area, we are able to assist and promote more songwriters and composers, as well create awareness for larger global issues. Want to start a Chapter or volunteer? Our Global Mission

Songsalive! Inc is a non-profit public benefit corporation under 501(c)(3), listed as public charity, in the U.S.A, and a not- for- profit organization in N.S.W Australia. We dedicated to the nurturing, support and promotion of songwriters and composers worldwide.  Founded in 1997 by Gilli Moon Aliotti and Roxanne Kiely, in Sydney Australia, Songsalive! acts as an epicentre, a heart of the international songwriting community and music markets, bridging the gaps, tapping songwriters into the pulse of the business and at the same time giving them and their music the support they deserve. Through Songsalive!, songs and songwriters can be accessed by the whole world and when the hunt is on, Songsalive! is a one-stop song shop!

About our structure and constitution

WHAT WE ARE DOING TO RAISE AWARENESS

Recently we have expanded our mission to include raising awareness about global, humanitarian and social issues affecting our world. We are doing this by collaborating with other non-profits specializing in these areas and also through the power of music and the music industry – staging concerts, events and programs that raise this much needed awareness.  

We held a booth at the 2006 Worldfest (Los Angeles) and Harmony Festival (Santa Rosa CA) as our first foray into building a strong foundation between music and global awareness campaigns. Songsalive! continues to build these relationships with earth-minded festivals.

Songsalive! has joined up with MissionFish to raise funds through online stores such as eBay, for the cause. Click on the logo to see our page. We encourage anyone selling on eBay to list our non-profit with your item.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Songsalive! hosted a very special showcase to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on Thursday, October 26, 2006 from 7 pm -11 pm at the Earth Retreat, 11629 Love Creek Road in Ben Lomond, California.

Global Green

Global Green USA is a national environmental organization addressing three of the greatest challenges facing humanity:
 

• Stemming global climate change by creating green buildings and cities

• Eliminating weapons of mass destruction that threaten lives and the environment.

• Providing clean, safe drinking water for the 2.4 billion people who lack access to clean water
