about our events Boston Song Critique Workshops
Songsalive! workshops and develop collaborations, meet industry
guests, showcase and workshop your music for feedback in a
professional and supportive environment. Songsalive! holds
songwriting critique workshops where songwriters gather to share
their songs, gain feedback and develop relationships within the
songwriting communities we have created around the world. In Boston,
we have chosen Sunday afternoons (2pm) at the All Asia Bar, to come
together and share songs, gain feedback, and network. Full bar and
menu open also. You are invited to our in-the-round workshop where
writers present one song each - either on tape, CD or live -
followed sometimes by an industry discussion or guest speaker, or if
time permitting, a songwriters performance, open mic. The workshops
are open to all songwriters and music composers of all levels and
music genres and you don't have to be a Songsalive! member to
attend. It is usually best to register your attendance in advance. Moderated by Chris Marston. CURRENTLY ON HIATUS. Contact us to see next date.
COST: $5 for non-members, free to Songsalive! members. HOW TO REGISTER: Contact us by email, with 'Boston Chapter Songsalive! Workshop' in subject header, or contact us by phone. You will be automatically registered to attend unless contacted. We prefer pre-registrations. FIRST HALF SONG CRITIQUE - RULES & WHAT TO BRING:
1 song either on tape, CD or live (bring own guitar or keyboard) and 20 copies

secret, a great happening all around the world. Our showcases are a very cosy, intimate and acoustic
environment where media and music industry representatives often drop by to
check out the latest talent.

CHRIS MARSTON
Chris recently graduated from Suffolk University Law and Business School with a Juris Doctor and a Master of Science and is preparing for the NY and MA bar exams. He has been writing since he was 10, and his focus is on pop ballads. Chris has his own recording studio and is currently working on an album of "Ballads" due for completion by the end of the year.
